Portfolio for City of Birmingham University

This is my portfolio for my course at City of Birmingham University, this is only the beginning as time goes on I'll add to this portfolio.

I find the jewelry world is very orientated towards females and I want to create pieces that have no bias so anyone and everyone can enjoy them. I hope you enjoy the following.
The above is the idea stage for a piece of half moon set of jewelry, it's a very rough sketch and only lays out the idea.
This is at the halfway point, the designs are complete but i hadn't decided all the specifics.
This is the final design, the pictures are annotated with sizes and ideas for the type of chain and clasp to use. The entire set will be made of solid sterling silver.

The idea behind the design is that it is neutral, the moon could either be waxing or waning, this is in keeping with today's society which is contains incredibly diverse people with different views. This piece is designed to be gender neutral so anyone can wear it no matter what they identify as.
This is the draft idea for a star set of jewelry.

The theme behind my pieces is space, I find there is lots of inspiration in the night's sky, even the objects that we can't see from down here on our big, lonely, vibrant planet.

If you look on my Pinterest which is linked to my bio you can see some of the pieces that inspired me and some of the ideas for further pieces.
The above are design pictures for the ring I have already made (see below)
The above is one of two matching rings that I have made.

Both rings are made of sterling silver and have the letters J C stamped on the inside of the band. Creating these rings is where I found my aptitude and passion for silversmithing.
